Science-technology, cultural fest at IISC

Undergraduates at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will hold a national-level science and technology, cultural intercollegiate fest for the first time. The students have decided to play hosts to the three-day fest of a different kind imbibing scientific temper with a cultural touch. The intercollegiate fest, ‘Pravega 2013’, will be held in October.

Prof T A Abinandan, Department of Materials Engineering, said, “The institute will showcase its vibrant and youthful side not only in science engineering innovation but also in its cultural pursuits. Pravega is an endeavour towards becoming a top scientific and cultural festival in the country. The preparations have begun.”
