The Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) for mining operations in Anantapur district.
According to a press release, this MoU is to explore and utilise iron ore in Nemakal and Hiradahalu in that district by the two agencies, set up beneficiation and pelletisation plants of KIOCL and supply pellets to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam.
