CID seeks BU Task Force reports

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has asked the Bangalore University (BU) Task Force to furnish the reports it had submitted to the university and all documents it had seized during its visits to BEd colleges.

The CID, which is investigating the alleged malpractice and off-campus admissions at BEd colleges under BU, has also asked the Task Force to ‘immediately’ provide all details of action it had taken pertaining to this investigation.

The CID is acting on a case booked under Sections 66 (a-d) of the IT Act and Section 420 of the IPC.

Task Force chairperson H Karan Kumar said the reports on BEd colleges will be submitted in a day or two to the CID.
