BANGALORE: In view of the Independence Day ceremonial parade at Manekshaw Parade Ground from 9 am on Friday, police have made arrangements in and around the area to facilitate smooth vehicular movement.
Traffic will be diverted from 8.30 am to 10.30 am between BRV Junction and Kamaraj Road Junction (both directions) on Cubbon Road. All invitees and others attending the parade have been requested not to bring mobile phones, helmets, cameras, radios, umbrellas and sharp items into the ground. People with such articles will not be permitted inside. Everyone has to be seated before 8.30 am.

From Medinova towards Manipal Centre — Vehicles should go via Infantry Road, Safina Plaza, Main Guard Road, Alice Jewellery Circle, Dispensary Road, Kamaraj Road and Dickenson Road junction, K R Road and Cubbon Road, onwards to Manipal Centre junction
From Manipal Centre junction towards BRV junction on Cubbon Road — Take a left from K R Road junction towards Cauvery Arts and Crafts Circle, pass through M G Road, Anil Kumble Circle, BRV Junction and proceed towards Central Street
