BANGALORE: Japanese automobile major Isuzu launched its ‘D-Max’ range of pick-up trucks in Karnataka with a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore).
“The Indian pick-up truck segment is one of the largest and fastest growing in commercial vehicles (CV), accounting for 35% of the CV market. By 2023, the 1 Tn pick-up segment in India is expected to grow to 8 lakh units and become the world’s largest pick-up market”, Takashi Kikuchi, MD, Isuzu Motors India said. The company has appointed Trident Isuzu as its dealer in the city.
