Be Prepared for Traffic Jams in CBD Area

Bangalore Traffic Police have asked people to avoid taking those roads between 10 am to 12 noon.

BANGALORE:  Traffic on busy roads in and around Majestic, Anand Rao Circle, KR Circle and Vidhana Soudha is likely to be hit on Monday morning as a pro-farmer organisation is taking out a rally from City Railway Station to Vidhana Soudha.

Bangalore Traffic Police have asked people to avoid taking those roads between 10 am to 12 noon.

Members of the organisation are taking a rally demanding the government to take steps to help farmers. They are also likely to stage a demonstration in front of Vidhana Soudha.Police Inspector at Upparpet Police Station told Express that traffic could be hit between 10 am 12 pm and requested people to avoid Rajajinagar Road, Malleswaram, Magadi Road and Sirsi Circle as they expect nearly 10,000 farmers from different parts of the state to take part in the protest rally.

All efforts will be made to minimise the restrictions on the movement of general traffic on these roads during the rally, the officer said.
