BENGALURU: A 32-year-old painter died after he accidentally fell from the third floor of a house on BVK Iyengar Road near Chikpet on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Parandama, a native of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. The incident took place around 1.30 pm. Parandama was painting on the third floor of the house when he lost balance and fell on the ground. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a hospital nearby, where he succumbed. Chikpet police arrested the contractor, Kumar, who had not taken any precautionary measures.
