BENGALURU: A 35-year-old housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a tree in Agrahara village under Sampigehalli police limits.
It is suspected that she may have committed suicide after a quarrel with her husband. The deceased Anitha Murthy had married Srinivas, an autorickshaw driver, 15 years ago. Srinivas and Anitha had a fight on Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, Srinivas, left for work around 4 am as usual. Around 5:30 am, Anitha left the house to fetch grass for the cattle and did not return. Her death came to light when the land owner found the body and alerted the police.
