BENGALURU: The Lokayukta police raided the Public Works Department office in K R Nagar following a complaint alleging irregularities in various works.
V Shankar, a contractor, had filed a complaint with the Lokayukta alleging that there were irregularities of over Rs 300 crore. He further alleged that the officials took bribe to award the tenders.
Following the complaint, a team headed by Lokayukta DySP Narayanan conducted the raid on Wednesday night and inquired Executive Engineer M O Ramesh, engineers Srinivasamurthy and Narayanaswamy.
