Metro Reach 3B Trial A Success

BENGALURU: In another milestone, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Tuesday announced that it has successfully completed a trial of the entire Reach 3B on November 15. The Reach 3B has three stations ---  Jalahalli, Dasarahalli and Nagasandra --- and runs for around 3 kilometres on the NH4 stretch. The completion of the trial run means that BMRCL will now begin testing sub systems before it approaches the authorities for clearances to begin operations.

Trial runs for Reach 3A between Peenya Industry and Jalahalli were conducted on September 30 and currently, services between Sampige Road and Peenya Industry are operational.

“With this (clearances), the entire stretch from Sampige Road to Nagasandra Station (14 km) on the North-South Corridor will be available to the commuters,” a BMRCL statement said.
