Eatery Manager Takes Obscene Pics of Girl

BENGALURU: A 22-year-old college student on Tuesday filed a complaint against a 28-year-old manager of a multinational eatery chain on charges of clicking ‘objectionable’ photos of her.

The incident took place on November 2 at Royal Meenakshi Mall on Bannerghatta Road. Hulimavu police are yet to arrest the accused.

According to the police, the girl, a resident of Kodihalli, had gone to the eatery along with her friends to have lunch. She was sitting on the chair and noticed Vivek, the manager, clicking her pictures on his mobile phone. She grew suspicious of his behaviour and raised an alarm.

Shoppers at the mall rushed to the spot and inquired with her what had happened.

After a while, fearing an outcry, Vivek handed over the mobile phone to them.

On checking the contents of the phone, they found some ‘objectionable’ pictures of the girl.

When questioned, he said he took the pictures as he was inspired by a tattoo on her thigh and wanted to get a similar one. Later, she revealed the incident to her parents, who asked her to file a case. Based on her complaint, the police are on the lookout for the accused.
