Man, Private School Owner in Open Brawl

BENGALURU: A man has accused the owner of a private school, where his three-year-old daughter studies, of assaulting him in front of his child and wife.

Anindya Banerjee, a private firm employee, posted the allegation on a social networking site on Friday. He accused the Hulimavu police inspector of not filing a case against the school owner despite his complaints. He claimed that the inspector had attempted to strike a compromise between the two parties instead.

Banerjee told Express that his daughter had complained of mosquito bites at school. On Friday

evening, he and his wife Shilpi, who used to work as a teacher at the school, approached the school authorities about the unhygienic conditions on the premises. In a fit of rage, school owner Kishore assaulted Banerjee and the couple were allegedly forced to leave the premises.

What Kishore Says

However, Kishore said the couple had tried to create a scene as Shilpi had been sacked earlier. “The entire episode has been recorded on CCTV cameras and I have asked the police to take action after verifying the footage. The allegations against the school are baseless,” he said.
