Rs 1,000 Crore to Be Spent on Developmental Works

BENGALURU: District Minister R Ramalinga Reddy on Monday said `1,000 crore will be spent in 28 assembly constituencies for developmental works.

Reddy, along with Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao and City Mayor N Shantakumari announced projects in Gandhinagar Assembly Segments after the inspection of Anand Rao underpass, said

“Under the Nagarothana grant from the state government, developmental works like, roads, underpasses and other public works will be taken up in Bangalore”.

The roads will be concretised in many areas specially from Dhanavantri Road underpass to Sheshadripuram Signal in Gandhinagar, the work will be taken up for which `4.62 crore has been spent. The Anand Rao flyover will also be tarred again with a budget of `54 lakh. Similarly, many works will be taken up and officials have been asked to complete the works in three months.
