Keeping it Fresh and Healthy

Keeping it Fresh and Healthy

In summer, the issue of body odour is exacerbated by heat and humidity. What one must understand is that sweat is the body's way of getting rid of toxins and that is one of the reasons why it has an unpleasant odour. So it is important to detox from inside out. A drink of warm lemon water and honey to start the day and lots of water through out the day will keep you hydrated and will keep the odour in check.

Stick to fabrics that breathe and cottons are the best bet during the peak of the day when your body is working the most. Keep your underarms clean and hygienic. Add a few drops of chamomile or any fragrant oils to your bath. I would also recommend a complete body scrub. You could go with an over the counter apricot scrub once a week to keep the pores of your body unclogged.

Exfoliating your dead skin cells could keep bad odour at bay.

Another magic potion is apple cedar vinegar.

Just dab a little in your underarms and let it  stay for a few minutes and then dab it dry. Works like magic!

Last but not the least, pick a good deo and perfume. You must try and test them first as certain perfumes enhance body odour and even make it worse! Stick to sporty, fruity, fresh fragrances during the day. Avoid heavy  body fragrances though you could use them for your evening out.

Keep a roll on deo and wet wipes handy and if your body type sweats a lot, then make sure you use  roll on deos as often as you can
