Tweets on your desktop
In May, an agreement between Google and Twitter brought back tweets on search, a feature that had stopped in 2011. Now, as the two companies had agreed earlier this year, the partnership includes tweets in desktop search results too. A Twitter conversation between the handles of the two has confirmed it.

One app for all cabs
Taxy, available only on the Android platform currently, brings you all your cabs on one app. The app lists Ola, Uber, TaxiForSure, Meru and Easy Cabs are all on it and sorts them depending on an estimated total fare (for which you have to put in your destination) or the ones closest to you. And, sometimes, the individual apps offer you, sans destination or approximate fare, more options. So, perhaps, though the ‘Nearest’ option is designed to bring you the cab at the earliest possible, opening individual apps might be faster. The app is currently available in the Android version, while the iOS one is underway.
Save links on Dropbox
Dropbox has introduced a new drag-and-drop ulr feature to help users save links to pages they are looking up or sourcing information. You can save links in dedicated Dropbox folders which you can share, and can be opened in a new tab. The bookmarks you make aren’t confined to one device -- they can be viewed on your browser, desktop, smartphone or tablet. The share option on the Android and iOS versions let you do the same. Dropbox Pro and Dropbox for Business users can also create passwords for their shared links.
A sleeker Google router
Google has announced the launch of its app-controlled Wi-Fi router OnHub, developed in partnership with TP-link. The app, Google On (Android and iOS), reveal passwords with one tap and lets you prioritise tasks. The device has no cables, and its 13 antennas are all built in. These make people push their routers into corner or under tables while they work far better when on a shelf. It comes with an IPQ8064 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MB NOR flash, 4GB eMMC flash and QCA8337 Gigabit Ethernet switch. Currently available on online retail stores in the US,.
