QUEEN'S ROAD: KKS Murthy, owner of Select Book Shop which is on Brigade Road, has travelled all around the world for his love of collecting distinctive books.
He has a collection of rare, old and new books in his shop.
Book lovers like to visit his shop because one can find uncommon books, which are not available anywhere else, there.
He has put up a sale at Lady Jahangir Kothari Memorial Hall. Books of different genres like law, literature, philosophy, language, cookery, art will be on sale.
New books will be up for sale with a discount of 40 per cent whereas old books will go on sale with a discount of 50 per cent.
KKS Murthy told City Express, "These are second hand books which we are selling at a discounted price. We are also selling some of the books under our own publication called Select Books. One can find the first edition of Hitler's Mein Kampf. We are also selling books through Amazon."
The book sale will be on for four days from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.
