About the lecture

In the context of Aristotle, much of the discussion on love  is about friendship and especially self-love’s relation to friendship. Yet very little attention has been devoted to the role of love. The speaker will discuss the nature, kinds and objects of love in Aristotle's works and how these are integral to the harmony that is the virtuous individual. About the speaker

Roopen Majithia completed his schooling in Bengaluru and his higher education in the US and Canada. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the joint program at MacMaster University and the University of Guelph and is currently the Head of Philosophy at Mount Allison University in Canada.
