Now a Grocery App to Simplify your Life

The app aims to offer a one-hour delivery model that no other entrant has achieved

Developing  technology has been aiding the growth of the online grocery and food  retail market. Many technology-driven startups have come up and are thriving. ‘24x7Fresh’ is one such app that will launch in 30 cities across India over the next 12 months. It is a  grocery e-commerce app  that will offer many delivery options. It aims to introduce a unique one-hour delivery model that no other entrant has achieved so far.

Offering more than 15,000 products, the app will be launched for the first time in the country. It is a technology-driven startup, set to hire more than 1,500 people in customer service, logistics and technology. 

The app-based grocery platform addresses the need for quick, fresh and high-quality groceries and other daily essentials. With their mobile app that will be available on both ios and android platforms, they will introduce a unique social shopping facility.

“Each family will be able to register their members with their  phone numbers. Once they are registered with their unique numbers, the app will recognise their identity when they order and therefore will sort out bills in one budget package, even if it is ordered at different timeframes. We are going to showcase many more innovations through the app,” says the founder, Randhir Kumar.

It is true that 24X7Fresh is in its early stage, so the numbers are not too large, but they are indeed expecting to see a significant growth in the days to come.

24x7Fresh will be using GPS-enabled transportation optimisation systems so as to cut down on transportation cost by about 15 per cent. “With the help of MRP2, JIT, demand forecasting and real time procurement-led calculation, we will reduce inventory holding cost, cost of working capital, cost of wastage, and cost of stock out and pass on all these benefits to our customers. These technology-backed measures will help us remain competitive in the longer run,” Kumar said.

24x7Fresh will ensure that they only show the right product at the right place in the right way.

They promise, “ a smart, reliable and social e-commerce platform, thereby ensuring that the customers are kept happy throughout.”

They are launching, they say, with a motive to maintain a long-term relationship with customers and time will tell just how successful these ideas turn out to be.
