BENGALURU:A labour contractor was robbed of Rs 3 lakh after his attention was diverted using a Rs 10 note on Saturday.

Rohith, a resident of Yelahanka, had withdrawn the money from HDFC Bank in Whitefiled and was heading to work when his car suffered a puncture.

Police said when Rohith and the car driver got down to change the wheel, a person came to him and drew his attention to a Rs 10 note on the road. By the time Rohith picked the note, the person had made away with the cash. When Rohith realised the money was missing he informed the HAL police. Police said the car window was left open when the theft occurred and suspect two persons to be involved in the crime.
