BENGALURU: Residents of Kumaraswamy Layout woke up to a rude shock on Sunday morning when they found several cars parked in front of their houses vandalised.

Police said unidentified youths went on a car vandalising spree on Saturday night, breaking the windshields and causing other damage. Eight eight cars have been damaged.

Locals have suspected that students from other states studying in a reputed college in the area are behind the incident.

“Investigation has revealed that the incident took place between 2 am and 4 am on Sunday.

The act has been captured by a security camera installed in a PG accommodation. However, the footage is not clear,” police said.
