Over 850 Take Part in Skyscraper Dash

The second edition of the World Trade Centre Skyscraper Dash witnessed the participation of more than 850 people.

BENGALURU: The second edition of the World Trade Centre Skyscraper Dash witnessed the participation of more than 850 people, here on Sunday.

The event, which started at 6.30 am saw participants run around Brigade Gateway Campus, Sheraton and Orion Mall covering a distance of 2.5 km.

The event ended with a dash to the 31st floor of the World Trade Centre.

A sub-event of the Dash, the Everest Challenge, which required participants to run 70 times to the Centre, also attracted good participation from sports enthusiasts of the city.

The 2K Dash category for women was won by Vedha Baldota, followed by Arpitha Nagaraj. In the men’s event, the first two spots went to Dawn Varghese and Kiran.

The Dash category for women was won by Neera Katwal, followed by Ankita Gaur. Among men, Alphius Maria won the first place and Rajeev K R came a close second.
