3 Held For Selling Stolen Goods Online

BENGALURU:Commercial Street police on Friday arrested three habitual offenders who would steal electronic gadgets and other items and sell them online.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Mubarak (22), Suleman (22) and Ajeem Usman Pasha (25). According to police sources, the three men used to target shops on commercial streets and steal gadgets and whatever else they could lay their hands on. They would later sell them on websites like Olx.

Police got a clue about the trio from one Shankar who buys second-hand goods.  While buying the goods, Shankar collects a copy of the ID card of the seller. The three men had given copies of their voter ID cards while selling him stolen cameras.

With this, police have cracked one case each in HSR Layout, Siddapura and Mico Layout police limits, and two cases of theft in Koramangala police limits.
