QUEEN’S ROAD: Akaash Ashok Kumar of Karnataka scored a 25-pin victory over his teammate Huned Khokhar in the Karnataka state ranking tenpin bowling league at Blu O, Bangalore, on Saturday.
In a low scoring, one-sided final, Akaash Ashok Kumar led from frame one and defeated Huned Khokhar 181-156.
In step ladder match 2, second seeded Huned Khokhar tied the first game with third seed Vivek P (222-222) and moved on to the final match. The step ladder round was played on Challenge the Leader format where the lower ranked player has to beat the higher ranked player in both games.
Earlier in step ladder match 1, Vivek P overcame the challenge of Soban D of Tamil Nadu 195-190.
