BENGALURU: Schevaran Laboratories, a Mysuru-based facility, is offering user-friendly products to kill germs, prevent decay and control infections, keeping in mind the situation in Chennai, which is just returning to normal. Managing director of Schevaran Laboratories Sam Cherian told Express that the products will be available at cost price to those willing to help those stranded in Chennai.
“These products, already in use by corporates and other sectors, bear testimony to the fact that they are reliable and help combat diseases,” said Cherian. It may be recalled that the company had supplied hand sanitisers and fogging chemicals for use during the outbreak of H1N1 epidemic a few years ago.
People from Bengaluru continued to send relief materials to those stranded in Chennai on Monday. Sunil Muthanna, a resident of HSR Layout in the city, has already sent a truck-full of supplies to Chennai. He plans on sending another truck which is scheduled to leave the city on December 11.
