The coming festive season in December is packed with offers and discounts from several start-ups in hotel and travel industries.
Eco Rent A Car has winter packages for its customers. It provides 25 per cent off on self-drive options on all cars and 20 per cent on chauffeur-driven limousines. Customers who pick a limousine will also get a gift from Father Christmas. The offer is valid from December 20 to January 10. “Around 12 bookings have been done so far and seven to eight from Bengaluru,” says Aditya Loomba, MD, Eco Rent A Car.
Zoomcar, a self-drive car rental company, has a self-drive holiday sale. It provides flat 50 per cent off on all bookings between December 18 and January 3. Harish Rawat, VP, Marketing, says that the trend of self driving is evolving as the traveller enjoys privacy and freedom.
RoomsTonite, the last-minute hotel-booking app, is offering a super 72-hour sale on its app. The Customers can get a flat 45 per cent discount on all the rooms booked between December 10 and 13 using the promocode super72. Some hotels offer a maximum discount of 70 per cent as well. The discounts can be availed for each room and each day. “Around 600 hotels will be available in the category at more than 100 destinations across the country,” says Karthick Prabhu, chief product officer.
Hotel industry is offering discounts and combo offers. The early Christmas offer at Treebo hotels has been updated to flat 30 per cent off on all bookings done through their website. “The offer will run through till the end of December. We also have 1+1 night stay offer at our Jaipur hotel,” says Sidharth Gupta, co-founder, Treebo hotels.
Shangri La and J W Marriott are celebrating the festive season with gift hampers and special delicacies. The hampers at Marriott include a traditional Christmas cake, an assortment of cookies, truffles and chocolate-coated nuts, traditional stollen bread and organic honey with a bottle of wine or champagne. Alba, its Italian restaurant, also offers customers a special three-course and four-course set menu lunch and dinners on group bookings up to December 23.
