Two Killed in Accident

BENGALURU: Two people, including a woman, were killed when an unidentified vehicle rammed into their two-wheeler in Whitefield traffic police limits early on Thursday.

The deceased are Somanna (38), a tractor driver, and Anita (36), a tea stall owner. Both were from Yadgir. According to police, both were neighbours and residents of Kaveri Nagar in the city.

The duo were on their way to work at 5.30 am when a vehicle rear-ended them near Graphite India factory. Somanna and Anita died enroute to hospital. The driver of the vehicle fled the spot soon after the accident. Whitefield traffic police have registered a case.
