Bankers Meet Reviews Drought-relief Measures
The 133rd meet of State Level Bankers Committee (SBLC) Karnataka was held on Monday at the Vidhana Soudha conference hall. Relief measures in drought-affected taluks, farmer suicides in the state and implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, social security schemes and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) were reviewed. Performance of the banking sector under key business indicators including annual credit plan, flow of credit to priority sector schemes, were also discussed. R S Pandey, who is the executive director of SyndicateBank, delivered the keynote address.
3D Printing and Modelling Technology Launched
Stratasys, which offers 3D printing solutions, launched its services through city-based start-up Quick Shape. The 3D printing and modelling services are designed for industries like aerospace, architecture, automobile, apart from fashion and jewellery and medicine.
