BENGALURU:  The Bengaluru connection of techie Balvinder Singh, who was shot dead at Karimnagar in Telangana by the police, is apparent from his profile on a social networking site.

Even though the deceased had left the city several months ago, his profile stated that he was a resident of Bengaluru.

Balvinder, earlier, was employed at Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, before he decided to attempt the UPSC civil services examination.

The last post on his Facebook profile was a picture with the message, “I am

not alone. Waheguru is always with me.” on December 18.

His profile also shows that he was vocal on several issues that were discussed in the country during the past few months.

Express tried to track down colleagues and associates of the deceased in Bengaluru, but representatives of the company he was formerly employed with declined to comment on the issue.

Condolences for the deceased, however, poured in on social media from various parts of the country. While a few criticised the decision by the police to shoot the depressed person, others wondered how he might have flipped.
