BENGALURU: A 27-year-old woman committed suicide after strangling her daughter and son at their house in Cauverynagar in Mahadevapura on Sunday. Police are yet to ascertain the reason that led her to take this step.
The deceased has been identified as Veena, wife of one Krishna, who runs a club. The couple were married six years ago and had a daughter Rashi (6) and a son Harshith (2).
Police said the incident took place in the afternoon and that Veena strangled the kids before hanging herself. It was when Krishna came home from the club that he found the bodies of all three. She left a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for her death and that she wished her husband can live happily. Police said family dispute may have been the cause of the suicide.
