CHENNAI: Kindergarten children at Jagannath Vidyalaya celebrated Pongal and learned about the harvest festival on January 13.
Students were introduced to the traditional way of celebrating Pongal. The staff members boiled rice in an earthen pot on a fire to make pongal. A rangoli competition was held for the staff members to depict the customs of Pongal.
