KVS Holds Incentive Awards Ceremony

CHENNAI: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Chennai conducted the KVS Regional Incentive Awards Ceremony for 2014-15 at the CRPF Men’s Club in Avadi.

Governor K Rosaiah was the chief guest.

The programme started with the lighting of the kuthu vilakku and Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu, the official song of the Tamil Nadu government. S M Saleem, deputy commissioner, KVS regional office, Chennai, delivered the welcome address.

Governor Rosaiah presented the awards to the employees of KVS in the fields of education, innovation and experimentation.

The regional incentive awards, national awards, national incentive awards, and innovation and experimentation award were given to 26 members of the staff including the principal and teachers.

Dr Uma Sivaraman, assistant commissioner, KVS Chennai, proposed the vote of thanks.
