4 Held for Selling Fake Job Certificates

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Thursday arrested four men who were allegedly selling fake experience certificates to unemployed people.

According to police sources, the men were running two agencies in Marathahalli in HAL police limits. A special CCB team raided an agency called Nexsys Technologies and caught Krishna (36), a native of Guntur, and Vijay Raghava Reddy (35), a native of Kadri in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. They then raided VGS Technologies and arrested Sai Vijay (35), a native of Madanapalle, and Venkata Reddy (26) of Nellur, Andhra Pradesh.

The accused were issuing fake experience certificates in the name of companies like Evalue Technology Pvt Ltd, Enterfuse Soft Technology, Aadrika IT Solutions  and Letivo Soft Systems, none of which even exist.

A CCB source said the accused used to sell the fake  certificates for `25,000 to `30,000 per customer. They would send the customer a soft copy of the certificate for `3,000 and later, the hard copy after collecting the rest of the amount.
