This 24-hour delivery-only chain is a boon for people in a city where most establishments shut way before midnight. If your culinary skills don’t extend beyond Maggi and anda bhurji at your late night neighbourhood cart doesn’t quite satisfy those cravings, Crunch Pizza is the perfect option for you. This hole-in-the-wall outlet just off 80-ft Road Indiranagar delivers around the neighbourhood and although they take 45 minutes to 1 hour, I am not complaining as long as there is a fresh-out-of-the-oven thin-crust pepperoni pizza waiting at the end of it...
One of the strong points of Crunch Pizza is that they live upto their promises and deliver on all counts, whether that be price point, taste and serious VFM (Value for Money). A 16-incher (the Full option on the menu) is truly a mega whopper of a pizza offering upto five hungry people enough to chew on.
Ordering pizza during the work week is something that has the potential to transform an otherwise dull day into an occasion. As me and my friend trawled the menu, we were spoilt for choice. With over 20 vegetarian and non-vegetarian pizzas on offer, these guys are a pizza-only place and they do them competently with melty cheese and quality meats and veggies. In order to put a healthy spin to things, they also offer a whole-wheat base and pizzas such as Slim Fest with corn, olives, jalapeno and capsicum, the Gym with peri peri paneer, sweet potato, jalapeno, coloured bell peppers, sprouts, onion and nuts and the Veg Lite with mushrooms, onion and soya. This apart, they also have all the classics that will satisfy both cheese lovers as well as avowed carnivores. Thus there is a loaded porky pizza with a rather unfortunate name called Babe’s Demise offering a sausage, pepperoni, onion and jalapeno topping. Priced between ` 520 and ` 720 for a full pizza that feeds about five, it works out to less than 150 per head making it a perfectly economic way to fuel your midnight munchies.
