Slum Kids Beautify Metro Station

BENGALURU: Children from a slum at Lakshmipura on Tuesday planted saplings in the road medians and painted the pillars of the CMH metro station at Indira Nagar. Residents and traders of Lakshmipura also joined hands with Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd and volunteer group Ugly Indians as part of a Swachh Bharat initiative.

The programme commenced at 11 am and concluded by 1 pm, said a Metro release.
