14,500 Booked For Helmetless Riding

BENGALURU: City traffic police on Tuesday conducted a drive against helmetless riders and booked 14,500 cases. Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) M A Saleem said the drive, conducted by East and West traffic division police, will continue till next month.

“We will take strict action against those found violating traffic rules repeatedly,” DCP Traffic (West) Girish said. He said of the cases, 12,500 were booked by the West division traffic police.
