BENGALURU: Arvind International Residential School and PU College a co educational Institution is situated at Girigowdannapalya gate Maddur road, Kunigal.The institution is run by Smt. Gangamma Educational Charitable Trust and was founded by M.K.Ashok in the year 2010 with 232 students. Currently there are 1500 students with 92 teaching and non teaching staff. MK Ashok speaks to City Express about the unique features of the school and the What are the unique features of your school?

Ours was a humble beginning which we made in 2010 and today, in a short span of six years it has become a dream destination for students, teachers and parents alike as we stand by with our motto of Culture, Discipline and Excellence. The school was started with the intention of providing international education facilities to the surrounding area children as well as to develop as a topmost residential school. We offer education from M 1 to PUC.

The unique feature of the school is that we make learning a joyful experience, laying a strong foundation for future learning by providing maximum opportunity for perception, observation, auditory and visual experience which are the basic needs for concept formation. We evaluate the students periodically through tests and assignments and enlightening the parents.

Tell us about the facilities in the school.

Apart from experienced faculty members, we have well furnished and spacious classrooms, well-stocked library and spacious modern laboratories, and activity based teachers in Nursery & Primary section. We also have rifle shooting, archery, swimming facilities, besides other sports. We focus on exclusive music, dance, art and craft, etc.

How have you managed to rope in qualified staff which is a challenge today?

Finding teachers nowadays is quite difficult. But we have teachers from various parts of South India who are really dedicated and service minded.

What are your plans of expansion?

We do have more plans, but currently we are concentrating on the existing classes to make it more effective.
