BENGALURU: Two brothers drowned in Bangalore's Abhigere lake on Sunday.
According to police the teenagers have been identified as Sudarshan (11) and Manoj (13), residents of Rama temple near MIT College.
The police said, “ Manoj and Sudarshan with three other friends had went near lake and have removed the clothes and have entered inside water. Due to the slush, both have stuck inside and died. Other three children who had gone with them went to their house inform about the incident. But as there were no one at the place they have went back to home.
On Monday morning, passersby saw clothes of the children on the banks. Meanwhile, Bhagya, mother of the deceased had also approached police to file a missing complaint.”
Later, police alerted fire force officials who took out the bodies of the deceased. The Abhigere lake is under renovation.
