BENGALURU: The South Western Railway Zone has been rated as the second most clean zone among all the 17 zones in the country. These are the findings of a recent survey conducted by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
The survey of major stations for cleanliness was initiated by the Environment and House Keeping Management Directorate of the Railway Board, New Delhi.
The survey was conducted among passengers with the objective of gauging passenger satisfaction with levels of cleanliness. It covered 407 major railway stations.
