New sites for 500 Arkavathy allottees in August

Alternative sites will be distributed to allottees of BDA’s Arkavathy Layout in a phased manner.

BENGALURU: Alternative sites will be distributed to allottees of BDA’s Arkavathy Layout in a phased manner, said  Rajkumar Khatri, Commissioner, BDA, on Friday.

Initially, 500 sites would be made available in August, based on seniority of registration while 300 could be made available in September, said an official release.

Khatri said that 48 acres have been identified that is free of litigation.

They would be reclaimed and handed over to the Engineering Division. P N Nayak, Engineer Member, said, providing infrastructure would be taken up along with layout development.
