BENGALURU: A 21-year-old youth died after he accidentally fell from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Rajarajeshwari Nagar on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Naveen, a resident of S V Residency near Rajarajeshwari Nagar police station. He was living with his parents and younger brother Praveen.
Police said, “Around 4.30 pm, Naveen went to the roof of the building, holding a coffee cup and conversing over the phone. There was a gap on top of the building, and he fell from there after he failed to notice it.”
Hearing the sound, the residents came out and saw Naveen lying in a pool of blood.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said, “Naveen was a BE graduate and was about to leave for the USA to pursue M.Tech on Wednesday night.”
Police have registered a case of unnatural death.
