BENGALURU: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday began preliminary investigation into the land scam allegedly involving Chief Secretary Arvind Jadhav, following a complaint filed by an RTI activist.

According to sources, even Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked the ACB to look into the matter seriously as it is a complicated issue causing embarrassment to the government.

ACB sources told Express that on Wednesday a team of officials visited the office of the Assistant Commissioner, Anekal sub-division, and Deputy Commissioner V Shankar, Bengaluru Urban, who has also been named in the complaint by RTI activist Bhaskaran.
