Who will be the Super Singer?

Winners to get a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 at the grand finale on October 8

BENGALURU: One out of every three people who auditioned for the  Gopalan Mall's Super Singer (Season Three) have made it to the second round. 

The mall conducts an annual talent hunt and anyone between the age of 8 to 38 are invited to participate. The only criterion is that the participant knows Kannada and Hindi. Three thousand people signed up for the first round and 1,100 have made it to the second.

In the end, two winners will be selected two categories – Junior (below 16) and Senior (17-38 years). The winner will win a cash prize of `1,00,000.

The grand finale will be held on October 8.  Last year, Aishwarya C and Vedika emerged victorious from among 4,000 participants. This year too the organisers saw enthusiastic participation from visitors at malls and employees and students at various institutions. The event was inaugurated on August 3 in Gopalan Arcade Mall RR Nagar, and celebrities such as composer Arjun Janya, playback singers Archana Udupa and Chinmai and actor Ragini Dwivedi Dhanjay were present, along with Dr C Prabhakar, Naveen Kumar and Yogesh Sharma.

Registrations are now closed but entry to watch the contests – at the three Gopal Malls in GST Old Madras Road, Innovation BG Road and Arcade RR Nagar – is open to all.

The Gopalan Super Singer 3 is presented by Provident, powered by Hero Motor Corp and Snow City, and co-sponsored by Dairy Day, SM Outdoor Solutions, Swaraj Outdoor Media, Gopalan Cinemas, 3MB Events, Suvarana News and Kannada Prabha.
