Unidentified man barges into 25-year-old IT professional's room in Bengaluru, rapes her and flees

An employee of an IT firm in the city was raped at knife point by an unidentified man at her PG accomodation in Parappana Agrahara.

BENGALURU: An employee of an IT firm in the city was raped at knife point by an unidentified man at her PG accommodation in Parappana Agrahara. She is from Tamil Nadu.

The incident that took place on Monday came to light only on Tuesday. The victim aged around 25 years is working in city since a year and was living with her friend in PG. On Monday, when her roommates left to work, the lady stayed back in the PG as she was not well.

An unidentified man barged inside her room and allegedly raped her at knife-point before he fled the place.

Police suspect, the accused have entered the building to steal valuables but when he dint get anything he have allegedly raped the woman at the knife point.

A case has been registered by the Parappana Agrahara police. Police have formed special teams to nab the accused.
