BENGALURU: A 26-year-old courier delivery boy, who was missing for the last three days, was found murdered in a building at Prashantnagar in Vijayanagar on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Nanjunda Swamy, a resident of Kaveripura in Kamaskhipalya and was living in a rented house with his mother.
Police said, on Thursday, Swamy had left home around afternoon for work. Since he did not return, his mother had filed a missing case at Kamakshipalya police station.
On Sunday, his body was found lying in a pool of blood in the ground floor of the Allahabad Bank building. The assailants have bludgeoned his head with a stone.
“The exact motive for the murder is yet to be ascertained and we have obtained the CCTV footage to ascertain the identity of the accused who might have kidnapped him before killing him,” police said.
