BENGALURU: A team of city police are now in Uttar Pradesh to seek body warrant of Kapil Saraswat, who had earlier worked with an agency of businessman Surendra, who was shot dead near his residence.
Saraswat is in Mathura jail. He had reportedly borrowed `3 crore from Surendra and failed to return. When Surendra filed a case against him, he had received threats from Kapil and his brothers, police said.
“The empty case of bullets were also not found in the place where the incident took place. However, there have been a few leads that will help to crack the case.”
“Doctors in the post-mortem report said that four bullets were inside Surendra’s body and the killers have shot from a close range,” police said.
