Plumber who killed two sons in cold blood held

BENGALURU: Subramanyapura police on Thursday arrested the 35-year-old plumber who had killed his two children at Beereshwaranagar in Subramanyapura on Wednesday morning. The accused, identified as Satish Kumar, was nabbed near Chunchunakatte after some locals informed police about a person moving suspiciously in blood-soaked clothes.

Satish told police that his wife Jyothi repeatedly held out divorce threats over his drinking habits.
On Wednesday morning, Satish allegedly killed his two children Shiva Shankar (5) and Adithya (4) and fled.
Satish would often fight with his wife Jyothi over trivial issues, and also suspected her fidelity.

On Tuesday night, Satish came home drunk and engaged in verbal duel with her. Soon, it took an ugly turn and Sathish started beating his wife. Subsequently, she along with her two sons left for mother’s house located nearby. At 10 am the next day, Sathish went to the nursery school and brought his two sons home. He bludgeoned the elder son Shiva Shankar to death and strangled his younger son Aditya, police sources said.
