BENGALURU: A 42-year-old truck owner and his brother in-law died instantly on Wednesday night, when a lorry crashed into a shed and ran over them in Kamalanagar.
Break failure is said to be the reason for the mishap.
The deceased were identified as Nataraj and Vinay, residents of Devanahalli.
Police said that the incident occurred around 11.30 pm, when driver Nagaraju was reversing the truck to unload sand at Nataraj’s construction site near Veerabadreshwara Theater. Nataraj was instructing him from a shed.
Suddenly, the lorry crashed into the shed due to break failure and ran over Nataraj and Vinay, who were behind it.
Vijayanagar traffic police arrested the driver and further investigations are on.
