BENGALURU: A 24-year-old woman has filed a complaint against her husband for allegedly blackmailing her and forcing her to have sex with him.The victim is Ramya (name changed), a resident of Marenahalli, and the accused is Shreyas, a resident of Chamarajpet. Shreyas is unemployed. According to police sources, Ramya and Shreyas tied the knot on April 17, 2016.
After the wedding, Shreyas booked a hotel room in Yelahanka. That night Shreyas drank alcohol and also forced Ramya to drink. He then forced her to have sex, the complaint said.
When the couple started living together, Shreyas would often show pornographic videos to his wife and ask her to perform similar sexual acts. If she did not oblige, he would blackmail her saying that he had recorded her nude videos and photographs and added that he would post it on social media if she did not co-operate.
Ramya also alleged that Shreyas was impotent. The family members also demanded dowry from her and harassed her mentally and physically, police said.
