BENGALURU: Four people were severely injured after the tempo they were travelling in collided with a speeding car at Kasavanahalli near Electronics City on Friday. The injured are Jeevan, Vishal Kumar, both employees of a private firm and natives of Uttar Pradesh, Mithun Kumar, a security guard in a private software firm and driver Shanthkumar.
According to police, the incident occurred around 4.30am when Shanthakumar, who was heading towards the main road from Parappana Agrahara took a right turn and collided with the tempo that was coming in the opposite direction.
The impact of the collision was such that the tempo toppled thrice. The condition of the car driver is said to be critical, and tempo driver escaped with minor injuries. The reckless driving is blamed for the mishap.
HSR Layout traffic police said that three vehicles were damaged in the incident.
