Bengaluru auto driver murdered

A 27-year-old auto driver was found murdered at his house in Annapurneshwari Nagar near Sunkadakatte on Monday.

BENGALURU: A 27-year-old auto driver was found murdered at his house in Annapurneshwari Nagar near Sunkadakatte on Monday. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.The deceased is Ravi, a native of Mandya, had come to Bengaluru four years ago. He was staying with a friend, Nagendra, in a rented house at Malagala Main Road at Annapurneshwari Nagar. 

Police said Nagedra had shifted to another house recently after he got married. On Sunday, Nagendra and some of his friends had come to Ravi’s house for a party. They were under the influence of alcohol and quarrelled over a trivial issue.

In a fit of rage, the assailants attacked Ravi with a cricket bat and fled. The house owner who went to Ravi’s house found him lying in a pool of blood and alerted police. 
Annapurneshwari Nagar police are looking for Nagendra and a financial dispute is suspected to be the motive for the murder.
